Just had a new Borla Atak system put on with high flow catted X already installed. I’ve noticed that when I’m taking it extra easy on the throttle (e.g. like if a cop is driving next to you), I hear this somewhat of a flicking/flapping sound from under the hood area. Almost like if a poker card was flicking against a bicycle spoke, but obviously with more of an engine noise.. after I reach 2k RPMs it fades away and the exhaust notes get deeper and all sounds well.. is this normal?
I asked the guy from the muffler shop if I had any exhaust leaks of any sort and he said just one of the bolts from the passenger side was loose but he made sure everything checked out.. I don’t get any off smells or fumes..
Car idles pretty normal..
