I'm changing to shorty headers on my 4.6L ’97 SVT engine. Same DOHC/4V engine as Mustang Cobra. I already pulled the stock oil dipstick tube out without messing with the motor mount. I'm looking for a Flexible Cable Oil Dipstick Tube, so I won’t have to jack up the engine and unbolt the driver’s side engine mount.

Lokar just advised me that they have nothing for this (Teksid) engine – their ED-5014 won’t work. Are there any other after-market flex dipstick tubes that anyone can suggest? I did do a Search, and I may have missed a post on this. Thanks

Fit? Idk what they're saying, but
after installing LT's on my 98 Cobra, I installed this cable dip stick np.

Old thread, but is anyone else using the Lokar flexible dipstick? It's listed as NOT for the 4V due to mounting location issues? Is this true? I'm getting ready to install some Stainless Works LT headers and was planning on getting a flexible dipstick. Any issues with mounting it?
