Fixed rear bumper wave.

Have had quite a wave in the rear bumper since I bought the car. Have had towels on the suspect spots for the last couple of weeks, which is an idea I got from a real old thread from this site. Well the end results were pretty good. Just thought I’d share this in case anyone has this on their bumper and hadn’t found a solution?

I have the same wave in the exact same spot. You just crammed towels in it and let it sit? Winter's coming so I can let her sit like that for months if need be.

the wave is so bad in mine it spider cracked all the clear coat

Ouch! When I notice imperfections and before I get pissed, I try to remind myself that the car is 17 years old. lol

Yes sir. I used 4 on the right, 3 on the left. In the old thread the guy had said he left them sit for a week, and his update was a month later and said it was still fixed. Letting it sit all winter would be a good thing I'd think.

I would think the warmer weather would be better. Softens the plastic a little and makes it more malleable.

I did/do have that in my favor. Up until recently its been high 80's low 90's everyday. Not dropping below 70 at night.
