I was having slip towards 7k rpm. Swapped on amAmerican Racing Solutions tensioner with a fresh gates belt and fixed that issue

I'd imagine they're all pretty much the same....Thump, VMP, ARS. I just put a VMP tensioner on a buddy's car and it's a nice piece. Much stiffer spring than stock and nice billet construction. I like the anodized finish on this one though.

I have a VMP unit ready to install on my 2011. I was consodering a Thump, but prior to purchase there were a rash of failures document on this forum. Even though the Thump has a lifetime warranty, a well designed and built unit from quality spec materials shouldnt fail. Last thing i want is a failure at the track from my belt tensioner.

Heres hoping the VMP was worth the investment.
