i got a ticket late november for having my tail lights tinted and i had to get an extension because it was overdue. so when i called to get an extension the lady told me that it was not classified as a fix it ticket on their system even though the issuing officer marked it as one. the lady i spoke with told me i had to see the judge to get it marked off as a fix it ticket. my question is will i have to pay any court fees for seeing the judge about this? this is in Orange County California by the way.

The short answer is yes, however, if you explain it to the judge and he accepts your version of the story you can request that they waive court costs.
