Hi everyone,

Need some help , been going a bit crazy googling tire options for some forgestars I picked up.

I am lowered on BMR springs, and the wheels are F14 20x9 +38 and 20x10.5 +48

The only matching tires I can find at appropriate sizes for these wheels are Michelin PSS and Pirelli P7 All Season

I'm currently running 255/35/20 and 275/35/20 on Supersnakes, and while I feel that the front looks okay, the rear definitely looks a bit stretched. I would love to just swap the tires over, but I feel the 275/35/20 would be too stretched on the 10.5 wheel.

Has anyone had any experiences running:

1. The Pirelli P7s?

2. 255/40/20 in front (does it rub with a 9" wheel, how are aesthetics)?

3. 295/35/20 with +48 10.5?

My other options would be:

255/35/20 Front 295/35/20 Rear (PSS, but rear is much larger diameter)
255/35/20 Front 285/35/20 Rear (Stretched Rear?)
265/35/20 Front 285/35/20 Rear (Stretched Rear?)
*255/35/20 Front 305/30/20 Rear (Rear Rub?)
255/35/20 Front 295/30/20 Rear (Too thin in rea ?)

What do you recommend? I do like the fuller/taller tire look and the fact that it would also give a more comfortable ride.

I have 10.5 rear +45 with a 295/35 lowered 1.5. it fits perfectly never rubs. If I was lower I'm sure it would hit especially on a 305. However I run a narrow 295 ( nitto runs narrow compared to others) But your offset of +48 will push the wheel in 3mm more than mine so it will be right with the fender if not a tiny bit beyond it.

Front I forget, but its a 9" with a 255/35 I believe. I'll post back when I check.

Here is a pic of the rear for reference

Thanks that helps a lot, so the 305 is out of the question, but a 295/35 should work.

I'm now considering a 285/35/20 Michelein PSS (runs wider) for the rear due to the fact that you are running a 295 nitto and it looks pretty close.

I have the same size wheels. No on the 255 for the front. Go 265 or more. 305 rear

Yea, I think ideally 265/35/20 would be best, but I like to use matching brand/model tires so that I don't get any extra sound at highway speeds.

Only the Mich PSS has all sizes available in at a somewhat reasonable price (1500+ for tires are still high to me)

I can pick up the Pirelli P7 for 1200 installed at a local shop, thats why I was thinking about it.

I'm now thinking about going 285/35/20 in Michelin PSS for the rear, just hoping its not too stretched.

I have the Toyo Proxes 4+ on mine in the sizes that you mentioned. Wheels are a 19x9 & 20x10.5 combo.

Heya,

Your car looks awesome, actually I found some google images of your car and it confirmed my decision to mount these gunmetal wheels on my car!

Thanks for the reply.

Heres a few cell pics of my newly mounted wheels and tires.
