Well I took the new to me 99 cobra (OrangeStang04's old car) to Dragway 42 for there last test and tune of the season. To say the least I am very impressed with the car and it exceeded my expectations being a stock 99 cobra motor with a stock eaton swap pulley and all through factory exhaust manifold. I know Mike's previous best pass on slicks from what I seen searching around was a 12.17, I set a 11.9999 goal for myself LOL. First pass off the trailer was a 11.61 at 123.57mph With a 1.72 60'.. I was stoked almost sh*t myself. Second pass was a 11.34 at 122.25 with a 1.62 60' and this pass ended my day. I was a few mph faster the whole track that pass until 4th gear and the factory clutch disc came apart (why the mph fell off). I truly believe this car has a 11.00 or maybe even a very high 10.99 with more seat time and a good clutch of course. Overall I'm very excited still and looking forward to better my skills as a driver and get a feel for this car. This was the first time I have been down the track in 8 yrs and it felt natural all over again. I also seen a few other member's out there today although I have no idea who they were. A friend of mine took some pics and I will upload those as soon as he sends them over too me and also post a pics of the time slips. Does anyone know what a stock 03\04 with slicks runs? I knew they were quick but I didnt think they were that quick. Also for how heavy the car is and the power it dyno'd at I am very impressed, car only made 428hp and 388tq to the tire. Thanks
