Yeah, been meaning to post up the track times from last friday... Took my newly aquired Lightning to the track on the street tune(only 14lbs) and with just the nitto's on it.
First run(straight off the hwy after driving a hour, no cool down at all)
1.90 60ft
7.70 1/8 @ 92.69
11.94 1/4 @ 116.85
That was slowest run of the night, ran 2 more 11.90s back to back then let it sit for about 45 min with no ice or anything(going to pack the reservior next time!) and ran the best time of the night.
1.73 60ft
7.52 1/8th @ 92.55
11.73 1/4 @ 116.89
It was my first time at the track with it and I just set the suspension and didn't try anything else. I do have a set of 28" hoosier qt pros that I'll be trying next time. I'm also gonna ice the reservoir, bring a battery charger so I can run the pump and electric fan, and play with the suspension a little. I'm hopeing to get around some 11.4's on the slicks:rockon: Then gonna try to race tune... which, from what I'm being told and by looking at the dyno sheets, it's a whole different truck.
