Took the stang out to the track for the first time last friday nite.
had the factory Brembo wheels on the front and a set of 16x7
v6 mustang wheels with 26/9.50/16 Hoosier QTP on the rear.
Car has 3.55's. best pass
60'- 1.83
330'-5.09
1/8- 7.83
1/8- 89.53
1/4- 12.13
1/4- 114.18

The mph seems low, from what I have seen other cars
with similar mods run.

I felt the same way about the mph on my runs (112mph). I too have the steeda tune, and i think its the tune being on the conservative side. Dont see too many with a steeda tune in the 11's sorry to say

What was the DA? what gear did you cross the line in? I'm assuming 4th, but maybe you went to 5th? I know some 3.73 guys go to 5th depending on tire height and other things, not sure about 3.55s

Also, you may want to run a taller tire (28" maybe?) with 3.55's, however I am no expert. Hopefully someone else can chime in to confirm or deny this? Not sure if it will help mph, but just a suggestion...

You need to get that 60 foot down and you will crack the 11's. I have turned low 1.6's on my 26 inch slicks, you should be able to get there too.

MPH is an indicator of HP, but ET is all that counts. I don't fret over mph. I have run from 115-119, depending on track and weather conditions.

Low 12's is definitely respectable. I wouldn't worry about mph as much. As others have said before, I think 11's are definitely possible with a slightly better 60ft

Yea from what I have read the Steeda tune does seem to
on the conservative side. I have had a few problems with
it, the car at times stalled while I was waiting in the
staging lanes. I believe I am going to switch to AED after
the first if the year.
