Received the mufflers yesterday and installed them today. DEFINATELY has a much better sound over the stock muffs. I can't imagine once the LT's go on what it'll sound like then. I was going to go with a turbo kit for the power adder but I had to reel myself back to reality that I just want to keep the car 600-650 MAX and leave it alone, so I will be doing a Whipplecharger and have fun. I've been smiling like a little kid. I forgot how that was to have that feeling........lol.

You'll love the sound with the headers! My mpg went down after installing the GT500 quads and ARH long tubes because I couldn't keep my foot out of the pedal. Pure music

GT500s are the perfect muffler of choice for many of the turbo setups.

If you are going the turbo route, why even spend the money and install time on LTs?

Thanks guys. I never said that I am going to go with a turbo kit. I said I WAS going to go with a turbo but decided to go with a whipple. Now I COULD be persuaded by 10secgoal......lol......he is better known as another alias on here for one of his turbo kits "IF" perhaps my funds allow a kit as great as his.

Also, from my past experience with a 1800 HP twin 76mm 427, you always want a straight thru muffler for turbos to reach maximum potential without back pressure issues. The GT500 muffs wouldn't be my choice for a turbo kit based off experiences with my past turbo coupe.

Lol, well I suppose so.

Here's lil red with the single 88mm turbo that put down 1177 RWHP AND 1097 RWTQ on 32 psi so I guess I COULD reconsider Hugh?

I'd look at it again. Nobody really walks away from turbos lol. 650rwhp will be fun for a while Turbo owners are different breed. You won't be able to stave it off for ever. The sooner you admit your problem, the sooner we can get you help lol

This one has a 2,000hp front mount A/W. Cast end tanks, no sheet metal panning, so no weakening. 1,000hp A/W and A/A coolers are the same way. You can keep your passenger seat this time!

It's changed a bit since lil red. Better turbos, AC, better ride, 20+MPG's, etc.
Then there's just porn.

You got any pics of your kit(s) on DD cars? I know the 5" DP DOES NOT delete A/C and all the other misinformed stuff that has been spoken but I would like to see it all as well.

Shit I forgot about it in the back. Andrew can weld his ass off lol

This is the only DD at the moment. And I mean EVERY day!

This one every day w the occasional change to riding his bike weather permitting. This one I drove over 500mile one way, ran a 10 sec pass and drove back. When he picked it up, he drove from San Diego to Washington state, and then to Tennessee. About 3800 miles I believe.

This isn't a DD. It's actually having the aluminator pulled at the moment. Looks like she fell victim to one of the aluminators without a billet pump. But he's near The Fields of Rockville. Idk, may be close to you? Might be able check that one out in person. This one is the one that back doored a 10 flat at 150+
I know lil red was 170, but this one wasn't cranked yet. Give it time lol
