Left the toll booth on the NJ Turnpike today, in no particular hurry. My cobra is two weeks old now with about 1200 miles on it. Anyway kinda rolled it up to about 3000 rpms and casually shifted to 2nd and found myself next to a brand new M5. I floored it without even thinking and he did the same. Didn't have a lot of room before the turn off so it was all over before third gear.I guess the important thing is I got there first, though I did have the angle on him from the start. He may have let off as well since he still has the temp registration in the back window. He pulled up next to me a while later in traffic and gave me a"thumbs up" and we went our seperate ways. Thought it was pretty cool.
