So my question ad I ask this after being an ICU Nurse and ER Nurse for 17 years....
What happens to the soul (spirit)? I can tell you from seeing people leave this world that you can tell sometimes when their soul leaves right before you have clinical death. So if the guy dies (removing his head/stopping his heart), how does his soul follow him to his new body? Does he become soulless? Would he then qualify as a zombie?

This precludes the presence of a soul. The brain is what makes you, you. What you see if the conscious mind surrendering itself to the end.
