We got the car finished last week. Yesterday was the first test and tune day of the season. So we loaded the car up and headed for the track. To say the day was a success is a huge understatement. We were not expecting any great times, mainly we were just going to work out any bugs we could find. The car performed great and apart from a few very small hiccups there were 0 issues. This car has so much more in it with some suspension, new tires, seat time, and a little more boost. Huge thanks to Slagburn, Bud, and Danny@EDP Performance. 9's will happen much faster than expected.

Runs were done on fairly worn Mickey Thompson ET Pro's with DA around 6700ft. Boost was 10psi. The stock motor record for Colorado was 10.42@136 so we were extremely happy with how the car did.

Nice, how hard are you planning to push the stock block?

Probably not much harder boost/HP wise. Going to add some suspension, and try to make it more efficient out of the hole. This run was leaving on 2 psi. As it sits I think it has a 9.7 in it without adding any more boost.

Awesome that car is an all day 9's car with suspension! And if you were at another track probably with better DA a 9.5 or tad better! What gear and rpm is the car going through the traps at? I would leave it like that for year and enjoy it the motor should be fine with a good tune and e85!

Congrats on the times . How much boost were you running

This pass was on 10psi.

Thanks man! The current plan is to weld / brace the rearend, add a set of single adjustables in the back, install the 2 step, and get the car to 60' in the low 1.4's. That alone will get the car well into the 9's. Once the 60' is sorted out ill probably add a little boost from 2nd-4th and try to take a little time off down track. I think the car has a 9.8 in it without adding any boost. I was only leaving on 2psi that day.
