03DOHC,
I am taking my car in Wed. for the ticking. Can you please let me know where I or my dealer car find this info? Should my dealer be able to look this fix up on their service department system or is there some phone number they can call? Any info. would be much appreciated.

It's called a Broadcast Message. The specific number of this Broadcast is 3521. They can run an OASIS and look for the Broadcast number. They should know how to do that though.

Are these TTY bolts? If so, replace them?
Why would you loosen then tighten vs just tighten in proper sequence.
I know there is a sequence listed in the manual.

thanks for the info.

highmiles: Great point!! I will take this up with my Service Advisor when my '03 returns for the "tick".

I will demand they be replaced if they are torque-to-yield.
