Can I use a firewall adjuster with the stock oem clutch cable and stock clutch quadrant?

The firewall adjuster is meant to be used when the quadrant is replaced with an aftermarket, non-adjustable version. And it's almost always recommended to use the stock cable, since it seems to hold up best.

I think any extra slack you try to put in with the firewall adjuster would be taken up by the stock self adjusting quadrant.

IMO, I hate those God forsaken quadrants, they put the pedal too low to the floor, so you have to shove the pedal all the way down for power shifting, I just freakin' hate them. I wish someone would just build an aluminum replica of the stocker and forget it. I have one car with the stock stuff and one with the aftermarket and I like the stocker much better.
