fine scratches on chrome wheels

i have 18inch afs wheels and i usually clean with soap and water then use mothers chrome polish and remove with microfiber, i dont know if there was dirt on microfiber or they are just junk microfiber and now on two wheels i have some fine scratches, Any ideas on how to remove or make less noticeable?

The chrome is very thin! I had same problem on mine and they were brand new. Use rim wax and go against the scratch it fills as best as it could and really does a great job
