Financial question for those of svtp

I'll make it short n sweet. Sister got a part time position while she finishes up college. She asked me this question but I couldn't answer it thus I am asking you guys. Her yearly pay will be roughly 14k and filed 0 but hasn't a clue as to a rough idea of how much will be taken as apposed to filing 1.

go to Internal Revenue Service and click on the "individuals" tab. There you'll find a withholding calculator that pretty accurately advises based on her individual status what she should claim.

You can use the calculator to see how much you're overpaying or underpaying the government, which also gives her the answer she's looking for.
