Ya man you can switch your tag at anytime. The easiest way to do it is online. All you need is your title number (It's on the registration), last 4 digits of the vin, and of'course a credit card to make an online payment for it. I've done it this way a few times. Click the link below to go to the Virginia DMV online.;-)
