Well it happened at the track today, lauched decent 1.7, hit second ok, snapped when I hit 3rd. Still ran 12.13 ET coasting..Now..d&d, and Liberty have the parts...Question how tough is it to swap to a 26 spline setup? Should I just send it to these guys to repair, or can any moron pull out the old and install new shaft? :)

Its either 12 or 13 bolts (I forget) to take the front tranny case off, it then slides off. You remove the input shaft, install new one. WHen you put the cover back on, try and turn the input shaft by hand. If its very hard to turn, take the cover off again, remove the input shaft, take the shim thats behind it off, and install a smaller one. (stock one is .36, I had to put a .32 on mine) Then replace cover, try to turn by hand agian, if it works, take cover off, put sealant on it, and bolt it back up. Wait over night, and wallah.
