Final Gear Ratios

I have a Viper Spec T56. To get the same gear ratio (jump of the line) as a T45 with 3.27's, I have to install a minimum of 4.10's - 4.30's. Is this valid anyalsis; not counting changes in HP/TQ ??

Precisely why I dislike the viper spec tranny for our application. The 00R spec tranny is much more suited for our small displacement NA motors.

But to answer your question yes, you'll want a 4.10 at least. i would opt for the 4.56 final drive ratio.

I'd get a 4.56 for sure, especially with the RPM you can turn.
