For Sale: 2003 Cobra drivetrain, 100k miles, still runs solid, only issue is the notorious head tick which doesn't hurt the engine, just sounds annoying.
asking $5000 ($5500 or so if delivered depending on where, not looking to ship)
- 2003 cobra 4.6L 4v DOHC engine (complete longblock)
- complete blower setup with all pulleys, intercooler pump and reservoir
- stock exhaust manifolds and aftermarket catted x-pipe
- t56 transmission, centerforce dfx clutch, spec aluminum flywheel
- upr CAI
- 39# stock injectors
- alternator.
trans has 26 spline liberty gear billet input shaft already installed.
blower has 2.9 pulley on it with aftermarket snub idler (would be matched perfectly with an aftermarket 4# lower if you desire to go up to 16psi)
setup made 400/455 on a mustang dyno on a rich and conservative tune
while its out, if the heads where rebuilt, blower ported (with same pulley), and upgraded injectors, would easily be a 500+whp setup.
also for sale is a Zex wet shot nitrous kit with window switch, bottle gauge, ARC billet bracket, 75hp nozzles, and dual purge kit. asking $600 for all that.
what will not come with is anything electrical needed for the new engine like Coil on plugs, wiring harness, ecu, and MAF, this is an almost complete terminator swap
i am pretty firm on the prices because even with the milage and head tick this is a solid engine that runs, was well maintained, and never sprayed since i never had the desire to put the nitrous kit on the car.
