That ad is for a bare block only, I believe the op is selling the short block assembled so $3500 is not a bad deal.

1 - I stated I don't know what it's worth to make an offer.

2 - it also says obo

3 - this is a short block not a bare block.

You will never touch an new aluminum short block for $3500 built in any configuration, stock or not.
