Faulty intercooler Pump May be my Problem?

I went to the track last weekend and I did the ICP jumper wire. The pump came on fine for about five minutes then accidentally I hit the jumper wire and knocked it out I put it right back in and then the pump was not working so I hit and it came back on. It did this to me twice that day. I have been having problems when I would do a pull from 1st into 3rd sometimes 4th the car would just seem to lose power. I am wondering how much timing the computer would pull out when the IAT2 get to hot? I am putting a new pump in next week. I have never had a chance to data log the car because the problem was very random. Thanks
