Bought an 05 Excursion V10 last year with 65K miles on the clock. Wish I'd done it a long time ago now. Power is decent, mileage not worse that my 09 Expedition EL unless I drive like an ass, and it will fit an entire tribe of Oompa Loompas. Definitely feels like a truck though, LOL!

Depending on your personal variables, look into a new C-Max Hybrid. I just bought one a couple weeks ago and love it. Mid 40MPG right out of the box and it both handles well, and has great power if you decide to mash the go-pedal. Passenger compartment is roomy for me, wife, 2 teen boys. Only thing I don't quite like, but can live with, is the cargo area with the rear seats up being a bit on the small side due to battery intrusion.

We've got a 4 door ram and a fusion. If I had the money I'd be dumping the fusion for a GMC Acadia/Buick Enclave

My wife has a '13 Murano sl. Leather/heated seat front AND back, only missing navi. 29k out the door new with 27 miles.
Its a fun little car/suv/crossover.

BTW me, wife, 8 month old, 70# pit ride comfortably in it.
