factory clutch question

Does anybody remember what color the factory pressure plate is?

The valeo pp should be grey I believe.

Thank you sir, I noticed that my car had a blue pressure plate when I changed the TOB recently. The previous owner had mentioned that Ford had pulled the tranny at one time and he had them replace the clutch while they were in there. I assumed he meant a factory replacement, wonder what it is?

If it's blue, it's not factory.

Yup^^. And my promotion kit came with a valeo gray pp as well.

the original will also have blue markings like you see around engine...marks are on pressure plate and on disc....

i noticed it after having engine apart...they say the blue marks mean nothing...but why do they seam to pop up everywhere on car?????????
