Hey guys, sorry for my ignorance, but what does a tune up consist of for my truck. I have a 98 F150 XLT 4x4 with a Triton V8. This is my daily driver with 90K trouble free miles. Lately, I've noticed a slight miss on take off and it also only idles at about 500 rpms without the ac on. I was thinking it's probably time for a tune up. My owners manual states that a tune up is required at 100K. Does this seem right? I'm thinking spark plugs and air & fuel filters? BTW, the only mods I have are a K&N replacement filter and a Flowmaster catback exhaust. Any advise would be appreciated.
