I have a VMP 2.3 TVS it was a "stripper model" that was purchased without a plenum and then had a 2.5" pulley pressed on by VMP.
It has 850 miles on it before I melted a piston (I had the supercharger swapped onto my 1999 Lightning)
Nothing happened to supercharger engine did not come apart simply melted a hole in the #4 piston.
Truck drove fine besides smoking.
Blower made great boost zero issues.
It kills me to do this as this is everything i want in a blower for my truck. Sadly some issues has cost me my recently built longblock. I am selling stricktly to fund the new motor. Sucks as I will without a doubt be buying another 2.3 tvs for the truck but i would rather have it up and running on a smaller blower then sitting waiting on funds for parts.
$2000 obo plus shipping.
I ship blowers all the time (i port them for lightnings, cobras and GT500s) shipping with my discounts will be about $45.
