I am interested in a CAI. I am looking for the K&N that has the seal, that seals the hot air from the engine compartment. When you open the hood, the air filter is in plain sight. It attaches where the stock air filter box attaches.

full cai or just the elbow that mounts from the MAF to the firewall? I've been trying to find a complete kit that goes to the throttle body -- difficult due to the way it's setup for the Cobra.

This is the complete kit that you are both talking about. It is the one that pulls cold air in from the finderwell and goes all the way to the TB. I took it off my car after 200 miles to replace with a Pro Charger kit.
