As many have experienced, the FORD stock oil cooler does Fail. I just experienced this and I was wondering what can I use in replacement of the Stock Ford Cooler? Something like a Sandwich type adaptor and a external cooler? Who offers one and what do I do with the Stock Ford Cooler? I've got a 2004 Cobra and I need help!

Thanks,

i put the stock oil cooler/coolant warmer (thats what it does, really) on the stack of parts ive removed from the car.

evans cooling sells an inlet flange for the block that replaces the whole oil filter base and water inlet. it gives you a place to put fittings for remote oil foofah. my oil filter is hanging off the front bumper and my oil cooler is in the grille.

make sure you use an oil cooler thermostat because you'll damage the engine if the oil isnt able to reach operating temperature. oil too cool is bad, mmkay
