Explorer engine swap ~ possible?

Hello!

I have a quick question.
Since I live so far away and 3v Mustangs are scarce, if not, one in a million my question is

Could I fit a 2006/2007 Explorer v8 engine into my Mustang GT 2007?
I read basically its the same engine...:shrug:

What else would I need?

It uses a different intake and throttle body.

Months ago I was wondering this.

I finished the build on June and got it working with a Mustang GT 4.6L 3v Engine (the one it was meant to have )

So its all good..

I also think that the Explorer Engine does not have a direct fit with the engine mounts...
