Therefore the only way you're going to find them, is either on e-bay, Craig's list or if somebody has them for sale on the forums. As for how they compare to the 2008-09 FR500S aka GT500KR mufflers? The M-5230-SVT1 Touring mufflers were constructed internally with a single core, perforated tube-straight thru design just like the Borla Touring, part# 11752 which is still in production for the 2005-10 Mustang GT. Sound-wise, the Touring SVT1 muffler has the same deep/mellow sound as the Borla #11752 Touring muffler. The 2008-09 GT500KR muffler is louder by comparison but is quieter than the Borla/FRPP stinger muffler and also has a cleaner, throaty sound. As for the Mac ProChamber? all I can tell you is that when it comes to my particular application, the Mac ProChamber doesn't do anything at all for drone. As a matter of fact, I have the Mac ProChamber paired together with my stock cats and Borla S-type (stingers) on my 2006 Mustang GT and the ProChamber doesn't help in reducing the drone at all. So now I'm in the process of looking into replacing the Borla Stingers with either the FR500S aka GT500KR mufflers or the Roush extreme cat back exhaust, part# 403936 as I just can't deal with the ear-splitting drone from the Borla S-type mufflers any longer. Perhaps for some reason, the 2005-10 Mustang GT models with the 4.6L 3valve motors are more prone to producing resonance drone than the previous generation SN-95 1996-04 4.6L 2valve motors and 2011-current Coyote 5.0L 4valve motors, but that's just a guess on my part, so who really knows for certain? As for the 2007 cross member, if it will bolt directly to the later 2008 and up GT500's as you mentioned, then I see no reason why it wouldn't accept the hanger rods from a ProChamber that is designed to fit the 2007 cross member. In the meantime, I've also attached an image of the 2007-09 FRPP Touring muffler, part# M-5230-SVT1.

-Rocky

Perhaps the Mac ProChamber for the previous generation 1996-04 SN-95 4.6L 2valve models and 2011-14 GT/GT500 4valve models are significantly quieter. As posted above, I have the Mac ProChamber paired with my OEM cats and Borla S-type (stingers) on my 2006 Mustang GT. Prior to pairing the ProChamber with the stock cats, I ran the ProChamber O/R with just the Borla S-type mufflers and for my particular application, the O/R ProChamber was significantly louder than it is now after paring it together with the stock cats. I can also confirm that for my application, the ProChamber has NOT reduced the interior resonance drone produced by my Borla S-type mufflers whatsoever by neither running the ProChamber as O/R or when paired together with the stock cats. Therefore, this is my reason for looking into replacing the Borla S-type mufflers with either the Ford Racing FR500S aka GT500KR mufflers or the Roush extreme cat-back exhaust, part# 403936 as I just can't handle the ear-splitting resonance drone from the Borla S-types any longer!
