We give congrats to this accomplishment and commend them for the performance, but it is not the fastest s197 Coyote. The fastest S197 with a Vin# and Coyote engine belongs to MMR and while there may be argument about who has what they are Both s197's (2010-2014 Body styles) and both rolled from a showroom and are both powered by a coyote. The bottom line is ET is ET and HP is HP. The MMR car is much faster, makes double the HP and was built 100% by MMR (Engine, Chassis and Turbo kit) and did it without the use of NOS. Again, we would like to give credit where it is due but it is not the overall record holder or even close.

No..... we still hold the record, Fastest means MPH, quickest means ET, John did retake the ET record from us a few weeks back but we still hold the MPH record (our 241.8 vs his 241.5).
I have one thing to say. Who the hell cares if the car has a vin. All the fastest cars are race cars with no factory working add ons. It’s not like these cars are street driven and then taken to the track.
I will say that Evolutions cars where VERY nicely built but they are in fact race cars. Stripped down interiors, under the hood it was just an engine with no street trim at all. Big ice tank in the trunk to keep the intake temps down and the list goes on and on.
So for the weekend warriors thinking their new 5.0s can do this. Well it’s not going to happen.
On another note there were pushrod street cars running about the same numbers. This is after a cruise on the street and being hot lapped into the finals. Now that's crazy!!

I know it says before the finals that you guys drive you're street cars to the line, but if that's the case, why were you towing that white car all the way down the track??:lol1::lol1:

This car is setup so nicely. You see some 9 sec cars all over the place and this looks smooth.
