Ive been looking around, but i cant find it. I want to know how people go about raising the rear seat on their Superduty's so they can fit a sub or two under there. Anyone heard of this or know how to do it?
ITP had some custom made ecentric spacers (moved the seat up and forward) which is what i plan to do. Check out ITP's project truck: http://www.itpdiesel.com/store.php?Truck04=1
I emailed them and they said that they just got a local machine shop to make them.
The only thing different is mine is an extended cab. im not sure if i have that kind of room behind my seats or not. I would like to be able to get 2 10's behind there. I had the MTX Thunderform box in my truck before, but it was just too underpowered and didnt sound all that great.
I made a box for mine and put it behind the seat with 3 Kicker Solo Barric 8" (square ones). For an amp i used a 600W kicker mono amp and it was loud. The fit was tight but there was no need to move the seat at all.
