In the rear for the jammer/radar unit, drilled a hole behind the license plate in the plastic and fished the wires through and into the trunk via a grommet on the bottom left of spare tire well, with a wire already coming into the trunk, just removed the factory electrical tape, pushed wire up through and re-taped. When I removed the rear unit I did notice a hard bend in the wire behind the license plate where it goes through the hole I drilled, wouldn't have thought that would have damaged the wire, but I have beveled/slopped the hole to give it a taper and get away from the 90 degree edge of the hole. [QUOTE="Ky GT500, post: 13150273, member: 149437"] Wasn't really difficult at all. I took more time with it as I did all that I could do to hide/blend, the wires in the engine bay. It was also my own car so I put thought into routing the wires and such. Even with all the overthinking I did on my part, I still installed it in the 6-8 hour time frame. When you open the box and start getting all the individual pieces out and lay them on the table, it looks like a lot of stuff and can be a bit intimidating. The install manual is very good and walks you through step by step the sequence of parts to put in. There was no real PITA moments, as I routed wires where I wanted/needed them. From engine bay, there is a unused firewall plug under the brake booster that I ran the two jammers and one radar wire through. I did remove the radiator cover to better see the route for the front wires. Zipped tied the wire along the existing factory wire harness and fed into the cabin under the rear seat and under the sill plate up the driver side floor/kick panel area. I mounted the main module to the computer with double-sided tape, as this was a good location to get all the pieces plugged in. Ran the GPS wire along this route as well and placed it up on my package tray, right behind the seat backs, centered. Used the supplied Velcro to stick the GPS unit to the package tray cover/carpet. Mounted the speaker up under the dash on the passenger side. Got my keyed power from fuse #33, unused. There are quite a few unused, but this was the first one I found that was keyed power. Put the display between the two main gauges in our cars on the shelf in front of the square display, used double-sided tape. I liked this location as it is a quick glance down to look at it while maintaining speed, less time with eyes off the road. The control is on the shifter console, upper left corner at the split between the console and radio faceplate, it is mounted with double-sided as well. Just got back from Escort and they swapped out the rear unit and will run test to find out if it was faulty, or if it was something I did. When I removed the rear unit I did notice a hard bend in the wire behind the license plate where it goes through the hole I drilled, wouldn't have thought that would have damaged the wire, but I have beveled/slopped the hole to give it a taper and get away from the 90 degree edge of the hole. Escort has been great to work with and the guy looked over my install and gave it the OK.
