Does anyone know if Ford made aluminum engine support brackets for the 5.4. I'm trying to trim as much fat as possible from the front end. Ones on my car are cast iron and very heavy. I know the 3 valve 4.6 are aluminum. Would the 4.6 work on the 5.4 ? Anyone know ?

The stockers are massive... must weighh 7-10lbs each. If you come up with something that allows more clearance, that would be a huge benefit for those installing longtubes.

Yes, the 4.6 alloy versions do fit, we even ran them on the car below for 4 years with no issues making well over 2000HP in this 5.4. We have a clean used set in stock, we can do them for $75
