My current engine stand won't allow me to bolt up to my 5.0. Which one do I need to get my new built sb on a stand addressed correctly?

why wont the stand work? I have used one that is 15 years old and had no issues along with a brand new engine stand from harbor freight. You need to find the right bolts that fit the back of the block. you may need to use some washers for spacers.

I have bolts that for but my hf stand won't line up with the trans mount holes. The plate to adjust will not allow it. I'm gonna order a summit one and see if it works.

Try Flipping the mount upside down from they way you would normally run it

Thats what we have to do here. We have about 20 engine stands from all different places and all of them fit a mod.

you might not beable to get the lowest holes on the block either

I tried flipping it too. Wouldn't reach the closest holes or was too much

You may want to ask JPC if they will sale you one out the twenty they got. lol

I got the 1k LB one from Habor Freight and it works perfect.
