What would it take to swap a 00/01 Lightning motor into our car? And would our transmission bolt up to it?

1. a new hood


The tranny would bolt up, but given the top feed of the L blower, you would need a huge cowl hood.

ON top that, you get Meh internals, an iron block, 2v heads, and the same old eaton blower.

You would probably do much better just buying a blower kit for your 01.

The plenmum doesn't clear even a 4in cowl. IMHO, the 2v set up isn't worth modding compared to the many other possibilities of a 4v 4.6. BB? Blower?

Also, you can get your hands on a 4v navi 5.4. Although I don't know if the head dimentions will fit in our cars.
