I've seen a few dress up items such as oil caps and other things like that, mainly by Steeda. I was wondering if anyone had seen something similar to what was on the concept car. It's a piece that goes in place of that big black plastic piece on the top of the motor. Not really sure what that'd be called. Intake cover maybe? Anyway, I had considered painting it with hi-temp silver, but wanted to see what other options there were and if anyone had seen them.

anyone else considered painting it or actually done it? I just don't want a "cheap" look.

thanks...figured what that was, done some intake work on a 5.0...figured as much.

Secondly, it will have to come off to add a SC right?

it wouldn't have to come off to add a supercharger...only if it were a roots style SC...it could be any number of certrifugal (if i'm not mistaken...)
