Emission Tune Question

For you guys that have a tune to get you through emissions is the tune a separate tune just so you can pass or are you able to run a tune 100% of the time that will still pass emissions? My car currently will not pass emissions despite my request to get me through originally. I'm allowed 1 incomplete but currently have 3 and cannot register my car until I pass. Also I've been running the same tune for a year now so I would imagine if the monitors were going to reset for me they would have by now.

Different tune. Unless you have an emissions specific tune, I'm guessing your rear o2s are off.

Yea rear 02's must be off since my car won't pass. Tuner sent me an emission tune only and said as soon as it passes put the old tune back in. It's my stock tune with just enough tweaks to pass supposedly. I'll find out if it works.
