okay i have a siren from an overhead hoisting crane ( think steel mill) that i want to use being powered by a car battery 12volts dc, the siren is 250 volts dc. is there a way i could get a transformer to increase the voltage that much with out having to use a power inverter, converting the current to 115 volts AC then using a transformer/power supply to put out 250 DC?
