At what temp is the electric fan supposed to come on. I recently installed a new stand alone ecu but still using the stock ccrm to control the fan. I noticed that if I unplug the coolant temp sensor the fan will come on but my a/c compressor won't work. I plug the sensor back in and everything works but the fan won't come on until the motor gets over 200 degrees which I think is a little too high.

stock turn on temp for the low speed fan is like 205 or 208 if i recall correctly, I was a little worried too when it was crossing 200 and not coming on after my engine swap

Ok thanks for the replies. I'm thinkng about running a jumper wire and switch to th high fan that i can control. I personally get worried when I start seeing temps close to 200 degrees

200 Deg F is well within the operating range, the thermostat doesn't open till 170 if you have that mod, 180 if still factory, as long as your cooling system is in good shape you should have no problems
