Hey guys, when I bought my 2003 Cobra this spring, there was a vacuum hose unplug from "something" behind/top of the blower. So I plugged it back...

I just found out (I presume) that's the EGR valve.

The tube going to the headers is still there.

Is there any point having it unplug? I'm not sure if it was intentional from the previous owner or it just accidentally unplugged.

Thanks,
Mike

It won't open if unplugged. If it isn't disabled in the tune you will get a check engine light. If it's unplugged the hose end needs to be plugged or you have a vac. leak. Also you will run higher IAT2 temps. and lower MPG without an EGR. First hand knowledge.
