I'm having a set of Hooker Super Comp long tubes installed on my 97 cobra April 1st and decided to delete the EGR and SAI systems. As most people already know, the egr is simple and all parts can be bought in a kit through Lethal or Dagostino. The hard part is rigging up plugs for the SAI system. Just wanted to share my story that the Hooker's in fact use a M18 1.5 plug. Great thing about this, is that it's the same as o2 sensor threads so any o2 sensor plug will work great. Some headers may be different, because I saw a lot of reports stating that M20 1.5 is the right plug and to use an oil drain plug. Others stating you can crossthread a 1/2in npt. But if you happen to have a set of Hooker's or other brand and want to do it right, get the standard o2 sensor plugs. Now to get these installed and hit the rollers for a tune. Thanks
