Ruined my egr pipe during a header install so now going with a delete
Searches have turned up old threads on m1r but most of th pics are gone now due to age

So once I plug port on header, plate opening on upper intake and turn off sensors in tune .... all I have to do is find a vacuum source for frps correct?
And I can remove dpfe and egr solenoid?
Thanks

Pretty much. I cut off the extra vacuum lines and capped what I could inside the loom to keep it clean. You should be able to keep the hard line to the FRPS. I remember I did on mine.

Thanks.
Any issues with detonation after?
I read a few references to it in old threads, but never anything specific

No. But my car was far from stock. Big bore stroker, different compression, etc. I did spend some extra time tweaking the mid range spark to work around not having EGR.
