As Ive said many times, there have been 2-3 issues regarding the trans in the GTR. Two have been confirmed and the other still has not released evidence.

There are multiple shops producing 600hp+ and none of them have had issues:

Cobb
HKS
Mines
Amuse
SP Engineering
etc....

Is it your mission to talk up the GTR in every post you make on this forum?

BTW -- Do you own a GTR?

no pics, no vids, no surprise.

edit: knowing that it is the Edmund's car - do you put it past Nissan to replace the transmission for the car when it was in for the transaxle replacement?

Ok but that doesn't change the fact that if you use a feature that comes with the car the warranty is void. So Nissan FTL still.

+1 dude, seriously 25PSI, the car is sick but as soon as you put a manufacture installed option to use you void the warranty?

that makes sense... just like the new STi's tranny probs. it's a $7k fix and it's should happen 10k miles... get the extended warranty and don't mod.

Probably wouldn't have so many issues with the trans if they got rid of that dumb auto and put a manual in there.

 the old getrag 6-speed out of the older R34 GTR could handle some abuse. From what Ive read people don't really worry about the trans until they are pushing the 700whp range.

Who knows, maybe its a manufacturing defect ala the early E46 M3's. Because some people have 550whp GT-Rs and they are running just fine while some people are blowing up the trans with stock power.

Either way its f&$%ing stupid that nissan puts a button in the car then turns around and says DON'T PRESS THAT BUTTON!!!

IMO it'd be like Ford ranting and raving about how much the F150 can tow, but then turning around and saying you can't use tow mode if you want to keep your warranty. Same situation with the GTR, Nissan advertises a 0-60 time of 3.X seconds, but if you want the GTR to perform like that you have to void your warranty. Complete BS

There is no bottom that activates LC! Its a sequence of buttons you press in order to activate it. Secondly, engaging LC does not void your warranty. The only way you void your warranty is, if Nissan feels like you abuse the car in some way. With this I agree, especially if a vehicle is capable of 98/2 awd! Like I said before, Nissan can not support our racing habits.

Furthermore, your analogy is completely wrong.
