So while removing my center console I pulled the ebrake too hard and ripped the front bolt outta the body.

So now I want to have a shop weld a plate over the hole and re-drill a hole so I can bolt it back down.

Body shop estimates 3.3 hours of labor for $186. That's with me removing the carpet and passenger seat (console is out already).

Does this sound fair? Seems like it should take 30 minutes to cover the parts that might get hit w/slag. Then another 30 minutes to cut a bracket. 30 minutes to Weld it and 10 minutes to drill a hole.

Max 2 hours. But that's just my opinion and could be completely off.

Glad the fender washer solved it!
