Damn, I feel like I've been seeing ALOT more build threads lately. It makes me want to go crazy on my car. Although I did just put in 4.10s last weekend. . . .

what gears are you going with?

im thinking 3.55. The 4.10s would be too much with the eaton or the kb/whipple i plan to go with later on. 3.55s seem like a solid gear.

Just got done cleaning the engine bay, about to post up pictures in a minute

What are your plans for the motor to start with? Are you doing a full swap as in all the wiring and trans?

If you DO decide to sell the 4.10's, let me know. :)

Congrats on getting the swap started, can't wait to see the video when it's finished

Op you said "put the other motor in" that sounds like more than just a eaton swap. This sounds like a full motor swap.

well i love the car so i didnt want to see it sit in the driveway for months and months while i was getting the swap parts. So i went and started piecing an entire motor together. Basically i bought a used teksid block, bought a forged bottom end. Bought a used 98 cobra crankshaft, bought a used set of 01 cobra heads(needs things cut and grinded) etc etc. Also went with a lethal fuel system for an 03/04 cobra($1800). the fuel system has all new lines/rails/pumps/hat/fuel filter and so on. Also bought a 03/04 cobra tank to go with it. Sorry i should have been a little more detailed about my swap. It essential is an eaton swap, but its done to withstand more then the eaton. Simply because i know that the eaton is not going to be on there for long. After i get use to the eaton i will swap a KB or Whipple on there. I prefer to put the whipple on there but im on a college student budget right now. The block is going to be bored out today!

dropped my block and bottom end off at the machine shop to get it bored out and make sure everything is balanced and in good shape. Also getting the heads cleaned and a valve job done and new valve seals installed. Fuel system i ordered the hat was on back order so now its just a waiting game on all these parts.

Im still undecided on what i want to do with my t45. Any options?

Depends on how much you want to spend and your preference. I drove my buddies Eaton and T-56 swapped Mach and I personally like the way my T-45 shifted better. It can be built to handle power for less then the T-56 and it weighs less. If your interesed in building it contact Zak at thet45source.com hands down the best builder for them ands I havnt heard one single bad thing about his build quality and level of power they can hold.

Well i got part of my fuel system in today. I guess the fuel lines are being shipped separately and i received my spec flywheel and clutch combo. Also got a termi tank from an awesome forum member! here are some pics

The fuel system can handle WAY more then the eaton will ever be able to throw at it, BUT i am planning for the future! its almost a shame to hide the fuel hat.

where should i run these new fuel lines? i could run them in the stock location BUT my subframe connectors run right over them. They run from the frame rail all the way to the pinch weld! Any advice would be nice!
