What do you guys think I can run for timing and boost on a 10.1cr. MMR 1500S (5.0 STROKER) CRUSHED 4.0 on E85.

I had the car baselined by Tim at Mr. Norms and did a half pull to 4k to seat the rings, car made 490/630@10degs timing.

Now that iv'e got a few more breakin miles on it I need to get the tune finished but was wondering were I should draw the lines.

They say with e85 you can pretty much just add timing til it quits making power. I know guys with whipples running 23-25* timing before it quits gaining power.

I ran a 2.3 whipple with 9.5 cr 4.6 at 23 degrees and 15psi with e85. It just won't detonate. I also ran an 11:1 na 3v up to 37 degrees and again, no detonation just a loss of power. The natural cooling properties of evaporating ethanol are a good heat sink.
