i painted my brakes this winter and left the ebrake spring connected and just slid the cable out. now when i got the brakes all back on and bled the ebrake doesnt work at all, everything is connected as far as the rear end goes but im wondering if something disconnected towards the handle in the car. its also a possibility that i had the brake engaged when i took them off, which i just read on a thread here that your supposed the disengage it. i removed it the same way last winter to do the ftbr kit and didn't have any trouble then so im stumped. the cable runs along the floorboards and goes up underneath so i cant see where it goes.

One of the cables may have slipped the "y" connector in the driveshaft tunnel. Each cable routes from the brake to the center tunnel. From there, they are connected to the e-brake handle cable. You may have to drop the driveshaft to see/fix it. Good Luck.
