How much could someone "skew" the numbers on a dyno if playing around with weight.

Lets say you have someone on a Mustang Dyno. Most of the ones I see show the weight as being 3750 lbs.

If 3600 lbs or even 3200 lbs were entered, how much would it affect the RWHP/RWTQ #'s?

Thanks!

I wonder what the difference could be.

A friend of mine had his dyno done with the same mods as mine, and it showed 472/497.

It seemed a little high to me. He said that the first run was around 458/465, and he thought he seen the weight at about 3600 lbs.

He said that on the second pull after some changes, he could have swore that he seen the guy adjust the weight to 3200 lbs, but the print off said 3600 again as the first.

He just wants some assurance the guy wasn't dicking him around.

Also, it was done on a Mustang Dyno that had the conversion software already in it for Dynojet #'s.
